Bethan Longbottom is a Fashion Designer whom is fresh out of MMU with First Degree honours. Coming out of University she needed to brand herself as a professional and create an online presence. She was looking for an online portfolio which showcases her work whilst also portraying her professionalism and expertise in fashion design.
Bethan required a brand which would be respectable, much to reflect her talent and professionalism. It needed to be iconic but nothing too distinct or eye-catching that draws the audiences attention way from her work. The branding needed to be versatile as it would be used in several different ways such as on her social platforms, digital work, and professional documents.
A vital element of this project was the creation of Bethan's website, a website to showcase her abilities and expertise. It was crucial for this web solution to be functional, allowing her to personally upload new content quickly and easily. I had creative freedom with the website design and layout which worked perfectly with Bethan's admirable visual content. Responsive website designs are essential in all of my projects, this is optimised for all devices sizes.
A discussion with Bethan revealed that she has a collection of video content left over from her graduate collection. I offered to compose a short promo video for her welcome page including an animated logo.
